Ingredients
2 sheets of pie dough
1 can of Wholesome Pantry® Pumpkin Purée
1⁄2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 tbs heavy cream
1 egg (for egg wash)
Cinnamon sugar (to garnish)
Sheet pan
One 8-inch pie pan
Directions

1. Cut out 14 identical circles from the pie dough. This will create 7 pie pockets.

2. For the filling, combine the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and heavy cream in a large bowl.

3. Add about a tablespoon of pumpkin pie filling to the center of one pie circle. Layer a second pie circle on top and crimp the edges with a fork.

4. Cut a small “X” in the center of the top of the pie pocket. Brush with egg wash, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

5. Place the pie pockets on a sheet pan, spacing each about 1 inch apart. On the grill, place a cake pan (about 8 inches) upside down. Then add the sheet pan of pie pockets on top of the cake pan.

6. Grill for 20-25 minutes, or until the pie crusts are golden brown.
